NOTES

Francis Marion Cook enlisted in the Union Army at Magnolia, Illinois, on 13 August 1862. He was discharged 20 April 1963 at Holmes Farm, Louisiana, for the disability of chronic diarrhoea contracted at Vicksburg where he was hospitalised on 17 January 1863. He arrived at Chenoa, Illinois, on 28 April 1863 and died the next day. The pension for the children was not approved until 6 January 1874 and amounted to $8 per month.

RELATIONSHIP

Micajah Cook and Elizabeth Lewis are the g-g-g-grandparents of Lynne Marie Stockman.
